When you decide to become an SCU member, our helpful Member Services Representatives will meet with you to get the job done. Once you create an account with us either in Steinbach or Winnipeg, we initiate - on your behalf - all transfers from your previous financial institution and complete all necessary authorization forms. Canadian residents who do not reside in Manitoba may be eligible to open an account with SCU. In order to comply with new requirements, non-Manitoba residents must provide additional supporting documentation in order to open a consumer account in a non face-to-face environment.
