What is a webcast?
A webcast is a live, online presentation. During the webcast, members can watch and listen to the 2020 annual reports, as well as vote on motions and ask questions throughout the presentation.
How many people can attend the webcast?
There is no attendee limit for the webcast.
How long is the webcast?
The meeting will range from 45 minutes to 1.5 hours.
Do I need to register to attend the AGM webcast?
Yes, all members, guests, and non-members must register to attend the AGM webcast. Simply visit www.scuagm.com to register.
SCU Members: select Member Login.
- When registering, members will be asked to use their Ballot Number found on their voting package. Each member’s ballot number is unique and helps validate they are SCU members. All SCU members as of December 31, 2020, who are over the age of 18 years will have the ability to vote on motions and ask questions at the AGM.
Guests and non-members: select Login as a Guest.
- Guests and non-members do not require a Ballot Number, as they will not have the ability to vote on motions or ask questions throughout the evening. Simply visit www.scuagm.com to register.
What happens if I have lost my ballot number? Can the ballot number be recovered?
Yes, you can also receive your ballot number by calling our Member Contact Centre at 1.800.728.6440, or by visiting an SCU branch and providing identification.
Do both spouses need to register to attend the webcast?
Yes, all members who want to attend the webcast are required to register.
Important note: In order to accurately track attendance and to give all members the opportunity to vote on motions or ask questions, each member must sign in using a different device such as a computer, laptop, or mobile phone. Alternately, members can choose to open two separate browser windows, on the same device, and log in separately.
What happens if I am unable to register?
If an error occurs, please contact agm@scu.mb.ca for assistance. Please provide your full name and email or phone number.
What is the deadline to register for the AGM?
Member and guests can register from January 15, 2021 starting at 9:00 a.m. CT to March 13, 2021, 11:59:59 p.m. CT.
Will I receive a confirmation after I have registered?
Yes, all registrants will receive an email confirmation that they have successfully registered for the AGM.
When will I get my login information and link to the meeting?
On March 14, all registered members and guests will receive an email containing their login information to access the webcast. If you do not receive your email on March 14, first check your spam folder, and if you cannot locate, please email us at agm@scu.mb.ca so we can assist you.
What if I don't have access to the Internet? Can I still attend the AGM?
Unfortunately, due to the many uncertainties around holding in-person events, we will not be holding an in-person event in 2021.
